Wemindji Telecommunication Association

At the Wemindji Telecommunication Association we propose to broaden our current programming to focus on language and history relevant to our audience in the remote communities here in Northern Quebec. (Wemindji is located on the eastern shore of James Bay). This new programming will be more inclusive. Currently we provide programming that is focused on local news and announcements, local issues, interviews and music. Presently our programming is provided exclusively in the Cree language and we wish to continue this important emphasis on our language.
